Chairman of the Board of the Galaktika Group Igor Du presented the company's project for testing and quality control of products. Together with X5 Retail Group, it is planned to implement the idea of checking products and goods using the blocking system. In particular, with the help of a special application, the consumer will be able to receive all the necessary information on the production and delivery of goods to the sales network using the barcode printed on the packaging. Such a system can replace an electronic veterinary certificate, the costs several times greater. According to Igor Du, in October 2017, an agreement is planned to be signed between the government of the Leningrad region, the company "Galaktika" and X5 Retail Group on the introduction of technology in the region.
