Crossing the Arctic Ice

In the near future, carriage of goods in the Far North will be one of the most trivial tasks for Russian scientists. To help specialists, a unmanned polar all-terrain vehicle on the basis of previously constructed TM-140A will be developed.

Experts point out that, to date, the ultimate goal of this development is to reach the level at which a chain of five vehicles per day will deliver goods using GLONASS with prior routing.

Such deliveries can be carried out without human resources. Staff will only serve new unmanned all-terrain vehicles (one or two experts is sufficient). The next step is full automation.
